This hunting farm is only a 60-minute drive from Port Elizabeth Airport. MEET THE TEAM

Tyron Schulpfort is the proud owner of Khangela African Safari where his passion for wildlife evolved from a young age.

With his outstanding game management policies, Tyron has demonstrated his knowledge and ability in providing quality trophies for his clients year after year.

He is an excellent host in camp and a gracious guide in the hunting field. His success as a businessman, farmer and hunter is clearly evident in what he has done for the wildlife industry and local community.

Tyron is a humble wildlife hunter and enthusiastic conservationist. He uplifts the community through mentorships and continues to promote and upskill his staff on the farm.

Juan MacDonald was born and raised in the Eastern Cape where he today does most of his professional hunting and farms commercial cattle with his parents.

His larger-than-life personality and gregarious nature ensures that his clients feel like one of the family very quickly.

Prior to embarking on a career as an Outfitter and PH Juan worked as a specialist game guide in the reserve industry which together with his love of hunting soon resulted in him establishing his own Safari company which has now been amalgamated into ours.

His enthusiasm for the experience of Safari is almost palpable when in his presence. He lives for the opportunity to showcase his skills and boasts great success both locally and north of the Limpopo, and is not shy of going the extra mile to ensure a memorable safari.

Office Administrator - Carla

Carla was born and raised in the Eastern Cape and soon developed a yearning for the outdoors and the adventures that it offered.

Early in her working life Carla decided that her passion for wildlife and the bush was the direction her career should take, and she thus began working in the Big 5 Reserve industry to gain valuable exposure.

In the process she met her now partner Juan (Flekkie) MacDonald and has subsequently joined him on his family farm where she assists with their commercial cattle business.

Through her association with Juan she has learnt much regarding the Hunting and Outfitter Industry and has now formalised this by joining him in Khangela African Safaris where she drives the Social Media, Marketing and Administration Departments.
